Over the last few weeks,
I have been trying out an app called "DSLR Remote". This App is
really helpful, and 100% free. I have found it to be more useful than not. DSLR
Remote features a Remote, Timer, Random and HDR setting. I have only used the
Remote and Timer features, because that is what fits my style of shooting. The
timer can be used to setup a time-lapse sequence and a remote delay. I personally
use the timer option for self-portraits, and real-estate or interior design
photos. For anything else like long exposure or slow shutter release images, I
use the remote feature. I think the only bad thing about this app is that you
will have to make sure you have a full cell phone battery charge. But even if
you don't, you can carry a portable cellphone charger with you.
Tryout the app and let
me know what you think about it. Leave a comment below and a link to your
images, because I would love to check them out.
